Who’s Up for Seven Posts in Seven Day? This Girl is!

I’m doing it!  Jen Fulwiler is again hosting the 7 Posts in 7 Days Challenge at Conversion Diary, and if you have a blog, you should totally take part in it, too!

Well, Jen does have a great list of compelling reasons as to what you’ll gain from this as a writer, but I have a few other ideas that might just tip the scales in the favor of multi-posting this week.  Among others:

1.  You like staying up late.  Too late.  Or getting up early.  Too early.  Or maybe, you enjoy locking yourself in a closet with a laptop in the never-ending search of that elusive “me-time” Oprah has spoken of for years.  Regardless, this challenge gives you the chance, nay, permission, to throw all manner of responsibility and good sleep habits to the birds as you strive to meet your writing goals.

2.  Now, there’s a good reason for the open laptop you are staring at.  When the kids accuse you of looking at Facebook AGAIN, you don’t have to surreptitiously close the tab while vehemently denying their accusation.  For once, you can look them in the eye and say, “Nope.  Mommy is working on her Mother Culture.  Just ask Charlotte Mason.  I’m supposta.”

3.  Your stats will go up, even for a week.  And if you even try the “Oh, I never check my stats, I just write because I enjoy it” line with me, well then, liar liar, pants on fire.

So, stay tuned for some stuff!  All I can promise is that there will be words on the page.
